A v7 UUID carries the millisecond it was created. The v4 carries nothing but randomness.

What is a UUID?

A UUID is a 128-bit identifier, written as 32 hex digits in five groups. Version 4 is random. Version 7 starts with the time it was made, so v7 UUIDs sort in the order they were created.
