Example response

HTTP/1.1 307 Temporary Redirect
Location: https://example.com/for-now

Often confused with

  • 302 FoundThe resource is at another URL for now, given in Location. A browser may change a POST to a GET when it follows; 307 does not allow that.
  • 308 Permanent RedirectThe resource has a new permanent URL, and the request must be repeated there with the same method and body.
